Drying was two week ago! I finally was able to load and fire the kiln and now it's time to glaze it all!

I'll be glazing these fellas and a bunch of buttons all day today! Thank goodness for unlimited dance music via satellite radio! It will keep the energy up in the studio!
It was so humid this week none of my pieces dried! Wa wa
New bowl shape... Hoping it ends looking like a drop of water splashing into water! Not so sure if that made sense but that's what I'm going for!

The order I was working on last week is finally dry enough to go into the kiln today!

We'll, I'm finally back! I've been working like a maniac (at the real job) and have had zero time for pottery!
I've got two magnet boards up at the shop now AND I've moved into a new space!
The layout of the shop is still basically the same!
Magnets and spoon rests are stocked up!
I'm still some the same row, just up closer to the front of the store (yes!!!!)!
Here's a parting puppy shot of our new baby! He's a whopping 7.8 pounds now!

All pottery has come to a stand still! We adopted this little fella from the Humane Society and he's taken over our lives!
He's also wearing out other members of the family as well!
I'm heading back to the studio today to get back to work! More pics to follow soon (of pottery and the little five pound pup)!
I've got another magnetic board up at the shop with some giant butterflies, heart shaped magnets and even and special accent buttons too!
I've packaged up mini-cities and put them in a metal box too! They're tied up and ready for gift giving!

I've got a nice assortment of trinket dishes/tea bag holders/spoon rests/ring dishes up at the booth today! These little dishes would also be perfect for a little girls tea party! I'm going to be making matching cups here soon so keep your eyes peeled!
I've also added this cool tree trunk pitcher! He's white on the outside and teal on the inside. He'd look great on the table at your summer BBQ!

One kiln load complete! Now on to load and the fire the next one and get to cleaning and pricing these fellas!
My latest trinket dishes are in the kiln as I type this!
This is the before and after shots of what they looked like before being fired! They will be a lovely shade of red when done! I'll share more pics as soon as I've got them out of the kiln!
Step one is done... Now I have to wipe off most of what I put on and then clear glaze over them! Hope to be loading the kiln tonight!!!

There are lots of tea bag holders, trinket dishes and spoon rests in new shapes!
My little city pieces will come in all shapes and sizes! I'm thinking most will be magnets initially but I plan on mounting groupings on wood panels that you can hang about too!

This is my six foot long ceramic cityscape! All made from slabs and assembled directly on the wall.
I keep a village worth of houses on my mantel! These little houses take ages to make but I love them with ally heart so they're worth the effort!
This is a wood and tile tray my husband made for me. I rotate an assortment of my latest ceramic creations here.

I'm in the middle of completely overhauling my ceramics studio (which means no making is going on right now). I thought it might be nice to post a few pics over this next week of ceramic pieces in my home. Most I made and some I've collected from other artists. Hope you enjoy!
I'll start with the kitchen...
This is a small rolling butcher block where we have some of our cast iron enameled pots and hammered aluminum pieces...
In this space I've got a couple of tree trunk vases and thrown plant pots. There are also a few traditional ceramic pieces (rabbit, pumpkin bowl and basket weave pots)!
